PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This marked the end of my Unofficial Reflection Series. At this point, I had done most of what I wanted to do with mirrors and Photoshop.
I had seen other photo manipulations like this one before I had photoshop, and I always thought it was the coolest thing: an impossible photo with no camera. Once I got photoshop, I realized I could also make it. To do this, you have to take a photo with one hand touching the mirror, another with the other hand, and finally, one with the head visible. From there, you just have to combine the three photos into one and blend them together.
I chose to wear the checkered shirt in the photo because I thought it would be more difficult to blend than a solid shirt. Why do I do this to myself?? I also chose this mirror because I thought it would create more of a challenge, but mostly because I was tired of taking photos in my bathroom. I think it came out pretty awesomely, if I do say so myself. I have included four behind the scenes photos so you could see a little of how the image is made :)
