He soon embarks on a quest through time to the lost island of Atlantis to locate her, where he discovers who he is and what is truly important in his life.

Chloe is the best friend of Sean and Jasper. Somewhat of a bookworm, she is currently in a university program that combines a law degree with a doctorate in psychology. She chose this degree path in order to keep her career options open. She is warm and friendly, and will do anything for her friends. She fears going to Atlantis, but wants to help Sean if she can.

Jasper is the best friend of Sean and Chloe. He loves sports, especially basketball, which he has played the majority of his life. At 27, Maggie is the older sister of Sean. She is a thrill-seeker and adventurer who travels the world in search of artifacts and treasure, oftentimes by less than legal means. She has dedicated her life to discovering previously unknown ancient history. Maggie finds joy and humor in the little things, and laughs often. She is dating Chase Fiore, whom she met nine years earlier. She and Chase were last seen in Antarctica, where they used the Eye of Trileon.

Chase is dating Maggie, who took him away from a promising career in electrical engineering after he met her nine years ago. What is
The Eye of Trileon?

The Eye of Trileon is an ancient device built in Atlantis. When used in a specific location in the world and on the correct day of the year, the Eye of Trileon can transport its user back 3,500 years to the lost island of Atlantis, but at a great cost. The Eye must be surrendered upon one’s arrival or Atlantis will be destroyed in twenty-eight days. However, without it, there is no way to return home and the traveler will be trapped in 1,500 BCE.
The Eye of Trileon is a round, silver-colored disk with a deep blue crystal in the center’s opening. Both sides of the disk can spin around the axis and small lines are etched one centimeter apart on either side of the seam. Two lines, which are slightly longer than the others, must be aligned before it can be utilized. Atlantean writing is engraved on both sides of the device explaining how to use it.

Translation of the top:
Trileon is a place of peace and knowledge. The map will show the city. The heat will reveal the path. Using the key will bring Atlantis to the traveler, and the traveler to Atlantis.

Translation of the bottom:
To discover Atlantis, use this key. When aligned, the face must follow the sun five times. It must then follow the path less traveled three times. Follow the sun twice more and the light will be revealed.

The Eye is the only artifact known to exist from Atlantis and it demonstrates the knowledge and skills of her people.

The Kings of
Atlantis

According to the Dialogue of Critias, Poseidon, the god of the sea, married a mortal woman, named Cleito. Together, they birthed five sets of twin sons. The first born, named Atlas, was given the entire island of Atlantis. Each subsequent child was given a smaller section of land, and they all became the kings of Atlantis.

When deliberating, Atlas was given the majority vote. This rule continued down the line of descendants. The original kings of Atlantis are listed below by sets of twins:
Atlas Amperes Mneseus Elasippus Azaes
Eumelus Evaemon Autochthon Mestor Diaprepes
In The Eye of Trileon, Atlantis has existed for four thousand, eight hundred years. Each of the current kings rules an equal portion of the main city, in addition to the outlying lands. Each king is represented by a different color and animal crest. Although the descendant of Atlas still has more power than any individual king, his identity is unknown to any except for the kings. In private meetings and decisions, he has a stronger vote than any of the other kings.

In no known relation to the above kings, the current kings are listed below with their crest and color:
Androcles Bull Sage Kleon Fox Brown
Nikodemos Mammoth Light Blue Pyrrhus Boar Red
Neleus Lion Dark Blue Hermokrates Crane Yellow
Iobates Snake Grey Aesop Bear Orange
Porfinio Crocodile Purple Trileon Wolf Dark Green
